Paris Fashion Week ... Elinor Nystedt

Weekday's marketing manager Elinor Nystedt gives minimal a go with a beige Cos skirt and a navy Weekday coat. The Dries van Noten shoes look gorgeous and perfectly finished off with the little nude socks. I like that she is mixing the maculine shape of the blazer with the feminine pencil skirt and girlie shoe + sock combo.

New York fashion Week ... Grunge

They had it all figured out in New York before it happened Paris. When Hedi Slimane showed his Saint Laurent vision in Paris for AW13 grunge was key. However the cool girls in New York had it sussed out already. layering techniques and luxe flannel shirts. Shiny buckled booties and towned down colours are basic lessons.

And I wanted to start the series with Soo Joo Park.  She has one of my favourite model looks at the moment, and I think she really represents a growing trend in culture and fashion. She has a great attitude and I always love photographing her.

Milan Fashion Week ss13 ... Natalia in A.W.A.K.E

Harpers Bazaar Russia's Natalia Alaverdian arrived at the Jil Sander ss13 show wearing a jumpsuit from her own fashion line A.W.A.K.E. I like the animal references in the prints, although I suspect this is not an easy look to pull off. But Natalia's petite frame does it really nicely and the side plait and red lips are a nice touch.

The biker jacket is having a moment and is returning on the fashion scene with full force. As well as spotting it on the streets during fashion weeks, I have also seen many outstanding versions hanging in the shops right now.
