Field Day 2013 - East London Festival Style

I shot street style at Field Day festival for Elle this weekend and the London cool kids were out en force. As always when street styling in the east the individualistic approach to fashion was exciting, and I particularly loved to see the girls rocking this season hot Glam Grunge Trend.

New York fashion Week ... Grunge

They had it all figured out in New York before it happened Paris. When Hedi Slimane showed his Saint Laurent vision in Paris for AW13 grunge was key. However the cool girls in New York had it sussed out already. layering techniques and luxe flannel shirts. Shiny buckled booties and towned down colours are basic lessons.

The biker jacket is having a moment and is returning on the fashion scene with full force. As well as spotting it on the streets during fashion weeks, I have also seen many outstanding versions hanging in the shops right now.
