Paris Fashion Week ... Alexandra Golovanoff

I have a soft spot for the slightly quiet and mysterious atmosphere in the early morning Paris rain. When TV presenter Alexandra Golovanoff came walking towards me in this metallic Balenciaga jacket the setting was complete. There is something otherworldly about the way Balenciaga uses fabrics and shapes and it takes a certain persona to carry off a full Balenciaga outfit in the morning,  however Alexandra certainly does it.

This outfit on associate market editor at Marie Claire, Preetma Singh made me excited about the metallics trend. The green Joe Fresh knit and space age Valerie silver skirt paired together is such understated futuristic cool.

Set to be a big trend this winter is metallics. Fashion writer and blogger of "The Style Bubble", Susie Lau, added Girlieness to this Tough trend. By mixing her pink metallic skirt and jacket with a soft pink MiuMiu cashmere top, a touch of blue and texture from her hat and cardigan, and finished it off with these pretty purple Salvatore Ferragamo bow pumps.
